5k logo The annual Sports Medicine 5K Run/Walk “is a fun event for families to come out and get some exercise.  It’s a great opportunity for the community to give back to the Sports Medicine Program, which ultimately helps us provide safe and effective care to the student athletes at three local high schools." said Sports Medicine Lead, Kelsie Hennessey, MSEd, ATC. “We usually see a turnout of 400-500 people of all ages.”

People of all skill levels are invited to participate, ranging from children to walkers and elite runners. Check-in takes place at the West Entrance at Cheshire Medical Center, 580 Court Street, Keene, NH.

Top male and female runners receive monetary prizes for first and second place. Commemorative awards are given to the top 3 male and female runners by age category, and the top male and female walker. All Kids’ Fun Run finishers receive a ribbon.

Entry fees are due for all entering the walk/run. There is no entry fee for the Kids’ Fun Run.

For information and online registration, please visit the 5K website or contact Kelsie Hennessey at 603-354-5454 x3730.
