Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene (CMC/DHK) is pleased to welcome Matthew Murray, MD, to our Emergency Department. Dr. Murray holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Southern Illinois University in Springfield, Illinois and a Bachelor of Science from Illinois College in Jacksonville, Illinois. He completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Murray is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and is certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Murray comes to CMC/DHK from his position as an Emergency physician at Memorial Hospital, University of Colorado Health in Colorado Springs, Colorado. There he also was the chairperson of the Emergency Department Monitoring and Evaluation Committee.

The Emergency Department at CMC/DHK has nearly completed a renovation and redesign to provide more private and universal treatment rooms and accommodate enhanced technology. The renovation added 2,400 square feet to the Emergency Department which includes 15 new treatment rooms, new resuscitation and triage rooms, as well as a dedicated space for patients suffering from behavioral health issues. Coordination with Dartmouth-Hitchcock provides air transport via DHART helicopter, allowing optimum management of patients with acute myocardial infarctions (heart attacks) and those in need of neuro and vascular surgery.
