Bob Ritchie Appointed Interfaith Chaplain at CMC/DHK

Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene (CMC/DHK) is pleased to announce the appointment of Rev. Bob Ritchie to the position of interfaith chaplain in the Pastoral Ministry Department. CMC/DHK's Pastoral Ministry Department provides a compassionate and sensitive, dynamic and sacramental ministry to patients, families, and staff in the context of the crisis of illness, institutionalization, and death.

Prior to accepting the interfaith chaplain position, Bob worked as a chaplain volunteer at the hospital and in 2010 began working as the on-call chaplain at CMC/DHK. He also served as pastor of the Bennington, New Hampshire Congregational Church and was a volunteer chaplain at Scott Farrar and Summerhill Assisted Living facilities in Peterborough. 

Bob is the Cheshire County member of the State Committee on Aging. He writes a monthly column for the Monadnock Ledger-Transcript called “Moments of Bliss” and is at work on a memoir that considers the other side of bliss. Bob is a graduate of Babson College and holds a Master of Divinity degree from Andover Newton Theological Seminary. He lives in Fitzwilliam with his wife Susan.
