Dr. Anna Ruelle Receives 2014 Outstanding Work in Diabetic Wounds Award

Anna Ruelle, DPM, WCC, of Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene’s (CMC/DHK) Orthopedic Department recently received the 2014 Outstanding Work in Diabetic Wounds Award from the National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy (NAWCO). NAWCO is the largest wound care certification and member organization in the United States. The award presented to Dr. Ruelle recognizes her contributions to the promotion of diabetes education, volunteering professional time in the treatment of diabetic wounds, recruitment/mentoring other wound care professionals, and service as a liaison between the health care setting and the community in diabetic wound care.

Dr. Ruelle has been caring for patients at CMC/DHK since 2004, specializing in the practice of diabetic foot, foot and ankle reconstruction, foot and ankle arthritis, ligament reconstruction, trauma and foot and ankle sports injuries, and pediatric foot and ankle conditions. The Podiatry Department treats patients with postural and/or foot abnormalities, short- and long-term conditions of the skin and musculoskeletal system, and sports-related injuries to the foot and leg offering both surgical and non-surgical options for patients.
