New England Reflections Calendar

Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene (CMC/DHK) is pleased to offer the "New England Reflections" 2015 calendar for sale with photos by Jeffrey Newcomer, MD, retired Pulmonologist. Annual sales from the calendar benefit patients of the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program at CMC/DHK by covering costs for individuals lacking insurance coverage.

The calendars are sold for $15 each and can be purchased at the Elliot’s Wish Gift Shop at CMC/DHK and locally at selected gift and specialty shops. Online orders are also available at “We are grateful for the regional merchants’ support and enthusiasm in selling these calendars to benefit our Pulmonary Rehabilitation patients,” shares Dr. Jeff Newcomer.

The calendar images were selected to capture the character of the region throughout the four seasons. Samples of Newcomer’s photography are available on his website at

The annual fundraiser underwrites reduced and no-cost participation in Pulmonary Rehabilitation. Pulmonary Rehabilitation helps individuals with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), emphysema, chronic bronchitis, asthma, pulmonary fibrosis, and other chronic lung diseases. Through a series of 24 sessions, a range of medical specialists offer information and assistance on using oxygen, inhalers, and medication. Participants learn ways to manage shortness of breath by retraining their breathing and conserving energy. The program also helps people build lung capacity through aerobic conditioning and strength training.

Most participants in Pulmonary Rehabilitation are referred by a physician. For information on Pulmonary Rehabilitation, contact Farnum Rehabilitation Services at CMC/DHK at 603-354-6730.
