Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene (CMC/DHK) is pleased to welcome Dr. Anthony J. Vita as a psychiatrist.  Dr. Vita holds a Master of Public Health from Harvard University, School of Public Health in Boston, MA and a Doctor of Medicine, from Stanford University, School of Medicine in Stanford, CA.

Dr. Vita was previously an attending psychiatrist at Bellin Psychiatric Center in Green Bay, WI, and at Baber and Associates in Naperville, IL.  As an attending psychiatrist, he has treated patients in inpatient and outpatient settings and has a broad range of psychiatric interests, especially inpatient care, ADHD, schizophrenia and mood disorders.  While at Bellin Psychiatric Center, he started the outpatient Suboxone program for Opioid Dependence.

At CMC/DHK, our Behavioral Health Department works to address the needs of the whole person. Treatment plans are developed and modified according to the individual care needs of each patient. Our team creates a warm, safe, age-appropriate environment conducive to helping patients with a range of psychiatric needs, from temporary emotional difficulties to the most serious and debilitating disorders.
