At Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene, we believe that community health is about the health of all of us and the actions we take to ensure that everyone in our community has the opportunity to live healthy lives. Our programs include: family resource counseling, which assists with access to medical care, dental services and one-on-one assistance to apply for financial aid; school-based dental services for children through the Cheshire Smiles Program; tobacco cessation services through the Coalition for Tobacco Free Communities; free health education classes; Cheshire Walkers group; Senior Passport healthy meal program; emergency preparedness through the Greater Monadnock Public Health Network; HEAL (Healthy Eating Active Living); and Healthy Monadnock 2020 with the goal of becoming the healthiest community in the nation.
