Phoenix House Presents Climb for Recovery! June 9

phoenix houseOn Saturday, June 9, 2012 (rain date: Sunday, June 10), Phoenix House will present the third annual Climb for Recovery!, a day of exhilarating outdoor adventure celebrating life, health and wellness. The main feature of the day will be a group climb on selected trails to the summit of Mount Monadnock, one of the world’s most frequently climbed mountains, followed by a picnic with live music at Phoenix House Dublin Center, 3 Pierce Road, Dublin, N.H. 03444.

The adventure will begin with registration at 10:00 a.m. at the Main Pavilion of Monadnock State Park (116 Poole Road, Jaffrey, N.H. 03452). Participation costs $20.00 per person; $10 for additional family members over age 15; children free. All proceeds from Climb for Recovery! support the efforts of Phoenix House’s programs in the Monadnock region (Dublin and Keene) to improve lives disrupted by drug and alcohol addictions through a broad spectrum of intervention, treatment, and recovery services for adolescents and adults. The continuum ranges from outpatient and intensive outpatient services to residential treatment and transitional living programs. We hope numerous members of the state’s recovery community, as well as the community at large, will join in the fun!
