Through the Champions Program, you can be part of a grass-roots effort of community members who promote social connection and individual and group action in support of healthy lifestyle behaviors. This program provides an opportunity to both give and gain encouragement for our County’s journey toward wellness. As a Vision 2020 Champion you will make a commitment to live, share, model and inspire the Vision 2020 ideals in the way that you find most meaningful.
By working together, we can live in the nation’s healthiest community. The Champions program will help you every step of the way with support and encouragement:
- A monthly e-newsletter with healthy lifestyle tips, recipes, and information on how together, we can live in the nation’s healthiest community
- Effective health promotion resources and our online Champions toolkit
- Ongoing information about progress and successes
- Events throughout the year
