6th Annual CMC/DHK Sports Medicine 5K Run/Walk & Kids' Fun Run

Join us for the 6th annual CMC/DHK Sports Medicine 5K Run/Walk & Kid’s Fun Run on Saturday, April 6, 2013.Race starts at the CMC/DHK’s West Entrance and is in support of the care and treatment of sports related injuries.

Join us & support our local patients and athletes—Proceeds benefit sports medicine with up-to-date rehabilitation equipment, team physician coverage at sporting events, and sports medicine education. Your generosity helps us care for our active community.

When you register above, choose the option to be a fundraiser— Follow simple steps to create a personalized web page and challenge family and friends to sponsor you with online donations. Get others involved with your commitment to run or walk 5K and support sports medicine at your nonprofit community hospital and clinic!

SAVE THE DATE and register today for our 5th annual Bald is Beautiful fundraiser event! This event aims to raise funds for the patients of Kingsbury Pavilion, our local nonprofit cancer center.

Why:
Bald is Beautifulis an annual event that raises funds for the care and treatment of cancer patients at the Kingsbury Pavilion. All proceeds go to our patient relief and cancer care funds.

Sap Run 5K at Stonewall Farm

Take a scenic trip through fields and forest of historic Stonewall Farm for the Sap Run 5K on Saturday April 27th, 2013. The course is a variety of rolling hills and flat terrain through Stonewall Farm and Cheshire Rail Trail.

Proceeds from the race will help support Stonewall Farm Youth Scholarship program. Long sleeve t-shirts for the first 50 participants. Prizes for top male and female overall and age groups division. A pancake breakfast with pure maple syrup and yogurt that is made on the farm for participants and volunteers after the race. Bring along the whole family for a refreshing day at the farm!

Otter Limits Triathlon

Lunch provided for participants and volunteers.

Green Up Keene 2013's event is happening on and around the weekend of April 13th! This litter pick up event will build upon the successes of the prior years, and we will hopefully be more successful this year than ever. If you are interested in volunteering to help with an area, visit our website or check out Green Up Keene on Facebook! For more information, contact Eric Swope  to learn how you or your organization, civic group, church group, business, school group, etc can help green up Keene!

Winchester Champions Wellness

On March 09, 2013 the Winchester School is hosting its annual Health & Wellness Fair and Parent Summit meeting.  This event is being sponsored by C & S Whole Grocers and ACCESS.  The Health and Wellness Fair has partnered with the American Red Cross to offer a blood drive, Cheshire Medical Center in support of Vision 2020, Cheshire Coalition for a Tobacco Communities and Monadnock Center for Violence Prevention to name a few.

The Parent Summit will offer workshops geared toward Pre K –K and High School to Life.  These workshops will help guide parents through their students’ transitions.  There will be two sessions held for each workshop.  One will run from 11:00 - 12:00 and 12:00 - 1:00 with time for Q &A for each.

We will be offering free daycare for ages 1-12 by the Winchester Learning Center staff from 10:00 – 1:30 for participants of either activity.  There will be raffle prizes and light healthy refreshments.
