NH Soles Lost...At What Cost?

Submitted by Organizational Champion, Cheshire Coalition for Tobacco Free Communitieslost soles

Did you know that every year, 1,700 people in New Hampshire alone die from tobacco-related illnesses?

The Breathe New Hampshire Youth Network™ (NHYN) is currently collecting used shoes to bring attention to the impact of tobacco use in the state, as well as the number of lives lost in New Hampshire due to smoking for the NH Soles Lost…At What Cost campaign. Their goal is to collect 1,700 pairs to be featured locally in an impactful display next spring (1,700 people die each year in NH from tobacco use, thus the 1,700 pair of shoes).

If you, your group, or organization would like to contribute gently-worn shoes to their cause, please contact Breathe New Hampshire at 1-800- 835-8647 or visit their website for more information. All collected shoes will be donated to those in need upon completion of the project.
