Organizational Champion, Joy’s Network: Elaine Pierce

“As an organizational champion, Joy's Network has added chair yoga into our cancer support group meetings. It is gentle enough for folks in treatment or recovering from treatments or surgeries and very soothing and relaxing! We also promote healthy eating and exercising to whatever extent you are able!!!”
-Champion, Kimberley Diemond

Champion, Randy Beaton:

“I was able to participate in this Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), often referred to as "Lou Gehrig's Disease, Bike Ride, one of the most inspiring and rewarding events I have done. I also discovered that my Grandfather died of this dreadful disease long before I was ever born, at the age of 47.”

Champion, Susan Copley:

“At a recent meeting of our Monadnock Rotary Club, a female member gave a 'Happy Dollar' to announce that she had taken the Vision 2020 Champion challenge to heart, made major changes in her diet, and had lost 15 lbs.! So, you just never know how your messages actually do create a healthier community, sometimes one person (and one person's story) at a time.  The 'ripple effect' can be powerful.”

Organizational Champion, Walk Away Your Troubles:

“My clients walk about 40 minutes during their weekly sessions with me. We start the visit with a review of between session assignments and then pick a topic to focus on for the day. Personally, I found the exercise goal pretty easy to reach and I was also inspired to begin training for a 5K race this fall.  Thanks!”
