The 24 bed program provides services to patients with a variety of physical disabilities. Specialized programs for specific diagnoses are available at the center, and include amputee, cancer, chronic pain, spinal cord injury, young stroke and head injury programs.
Individualized care is provided to each patient and their family by a team of dedicated health care professionals. Working together with the patient and family, the team develops a coordinated plan of care, with the goal of utilizing each patient's individual strengths and abilities to achieve an optimal level of independence. The average length of stay at the Farnum Rehabilitation Unit is 16 days.
The Adult Inpatient Rehab Program at the Farnum Unit is accredited by The Joint Commission (TJC).
