Prior to meeting Dr. DiNubila at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene, Virginia had received an inconsistent array of diagnoses for what might be causing her severe stomach pain. Today, she praises her doctor for really taking the time to figure out what was wrong with her.
"It wasn't until I finally saw Dr. DiNubila that we learned how my stomach wasn't emptying food properly. She figured out that I have what is called delayed gastric emptying syndrome. Food just sits in my stomach for a long time without being digested. I finally learned what was wrong and have real solutions. Now I take medication and the pain is gone. I am me again."
