Palliative Care

Palliative Care is the active total care of patients at a time when their disease is no longer responsive to curative treatment, and when control of pain, psychological, social, spiritual and physical problems are paramount.

Moving from ultimate hope of cure to acceptance of illness can be very difficult. Acceptance can bring a healing dimension to your life. Making the time to take control over your life involves working out issues with family and friends, putting financial affairs in order, and planning with others how you can best manager your health problems and other important matters. Palliative Care aims to affirm live and regards dying as a normal process.

"The Palliative Care team was utterly fantastic, they couldn’t have done more. Everybody we came in contact with was supreme." – Robert Tullar
