Keene - NH Psychological Association Recognizes Keene Psychologist
Dr. Richard High, a psychologist at Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene recently received the distinguished Margaret M. Riggs Award from the New Hampshire Psychological Association (NHPA). The recognition is bestowed upon one outstanding NH psychologist annually.
The Margaret Riggs Award identifies and publicly acknowledges a NH psychologist who has demonstrated extraordinary skills in teaching, research, or service. Dr. High received the award in recognition of his accomplishments as a member of the Professional Practice Committee of the Suicide Prevention Council where he has worked to make access to emergency treatment more sensitive and streamlined for individuals in imminent danger of suicide.
Richard High, PhD. has been associated with Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene for eighteen years. He has worked and taught in behavioral health since receiving his doctorate in 1978. At Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene Dr. High performs psychological consultations for adults and adolescents at the hospital’s Mental Health Unit and works as a consulting psychologist on the Farnum Rehabilitation Unit. Dr. High lives in Westmoreland.
