Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene welcomes Robert Lout, MD to our Department of Family Medicine. Dr. Lout has practiced emergency medicine in hospitals and other medical centers in Wisconsin, Massachusetts and Connecticut for several years. He is also Certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as a Program Director for Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehab.

Dr. Lout is Board Certified in Urgent Care by the American Board of Urgent Care. He served his Senior Residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, Worcester, MA and his Junior Residency and Medical Internship at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital of Boston, MA. He completed his Doctor of Medicine at Georgetown University, Washington, DC.

Clinical interests include the epidemiology of activity and fitness which tie well with personal interests of undersea diving, distance running and Nordic skiing. Dr. Lout is a member of the Professional Association of Diving Instructors/Technical Diving International, is certified for Nitrox/Evolution closed circuit rebreather, and is also a member of the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society. Dr. Lout has competed in ski marathons across the United States and Europe.
