Did you know that mammography can detect breast cancer at its earliest stage? So what are you waiting for?

The Mammography Department at the Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene recommends that women have a baseline mammogram between the ages of 35 and 40. After age 40, an annual mammogram is recommended.

When a woman comes to us for a mammogram, she can rely on two important factors - trust and technology. First, every effort is made is ensure that our patients experience the highest level of comfort and privacy. Second, the Mammography Department features two state-of-the-art mammography machines. This latest technology lowers a patient’s exposure to radiation, while maintaining superb image quality.

The Mammography Department is FDA approved and accredited by the American College of Radiology and provides the following services:

  • Stereotactic breast biopsy
  • Excisonal biopsy
  • Breast ultrasound
