Welcome!
The mission of the Cheshire Coalition for Tobacco-Free Communities is to work with youth and communities to create a tobacco-free environment.
The Coalition’s goals are:
- To prevent the initiation of tobacco use among young people;
- To promote quitting among adults and young people;
- And to eliminate exposure to secondhand smoke
The Coalition addresses its mission and goals through a number of initiatives, including school-based and community health and prevention education, adult and teen tobacco cessation programs, vendor compliance checks, Smokeless Saturday court diversion program, local and state policy efforts, and alternative tobacco-free activities for youth.
