National Organization for Victim Assistance (NOVA)
National. 2,300 members. Founded 1975. Support and advocacy for victims and survivors of violent crimes and disasters. Newsletter, information, referrals, phone help, conferences, crisis response training and group development guidelines. Referrals to local self-help groups. Dues $50 (individual); $200 (organization).

Anxiety and Depression Association of America
National network. Founded 1980. Listing of state-by-state local support groups, brochures, information about anxiety disorders, local listing of healthcare professionals providing treatment for anxiety disorders and a national listing of clinical trials provided free. Promotes the prevention, treatment and cure of anxiety and stress-related disorders through advocacy, education, training, and research.

Trauma Support Network
National. Opportunity to connect with other trauma survivors, share experiences, learn how to better manage life after a serious injury and gain support and hope from others. Support groups are facilitated by a trauma survivor. Group members have different types of injuries (head injuries, leg injuries, multiple trauma) resulting from different types of events (motor vehicle crashes, falls, gunshot wounds). Guest speakers.
