THE POWER OF THE EXHALE: MANAGING STRESS ONE BREATH AT A TIME

In this session, participants will learn the structure and anatomy of the breath and how it relates to core support. The presenter will discuss stress and how it can cut us off from our inherent ability to use our own muscles and mind to relax. Participants will be lead through some basic anatomical investigations and through a series of simple, Pilates based exercises that will help you to reduce stress and gain strength in your core. Comfortable clothing recommended. Yoga mats provided.
