The physicians and staff provide diagnostic and therapeutic patient-centered care, with primary objectives of:
- Stabilization of illness during treatment
- Provision for further healthcare interventions
- Provision of comprehensive care to patients undergoing GI endoscopy, surgical, diagnostic, invasive, and other special procedures
The Gastroenterology Department is a progressive, innovative, and dynamic group of physicians and staff, whose first priority is patient care.
The department staff provides diagnostic and therapeutic care to patients presenting a broad range of illness. Every patient is entitled to a plan of care, including assessment, treatment, evaluation and referral for follow-up and follow-up instructions. We utilize Doc-U-Scribe, which is an endoscopy reporting system. The windows-based system software enables the Endoscopist to rapidly produce computer generated office/procedure notes, with printable images easily transferred to reports and hard copy. Patients are provided a copy of their procedure note, upon discharge.
