Emergency Medicine Community Education
C.A.R.E. Programs
The goal of the "Cancel Alcohol Related Emergencies" is to educate students and parents about underage alcohol use and the tragic consequences of drinking and driving.
Community Education
ED nurses have been involved with "Project Crash" programs and "NH Buckle Up Week". They are also frequent guests in classrooms and clubs to answer questions and share the experiences of an "ER" nurse.
Emergency Medical Services
The Emergency Department provides continuing education programs for all levels of pre-hospital emergency services providers. This is an integral part of our effort to improve and coordinate regional emergency care services. Current regional emergency and life savings programs are also available from To Your Health, the on-line interactive directory of health promotion and wellness education programs sponsored by the Community Health Education Cooperative.
