Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene (CMC/DHK) is pleased to welcome Brandie Porter, CNM, MSN to CMC/DHK’s department of Women’s Health.

Ms. Porter holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in nursing from Columbia University in New York, New York, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Colby-Sawyer College in New London, New Hampshire.

Before joining CMC/DHK, Ms. Porter worked as a certified nurse-midwife at IU Health Partners, HealthNet in Indianapolis, Indiana, where she was a member of a hospitalist group responsible for inpatient antenatal, intra-partum and postpartum care. Ms. Porter also has ten years of experience working as a staff certified nurse-midwife providing comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care of women throughout their lifespan.

At CMC/DHK, Ms. Porter provides care in a team environment with obstetricians, gynecologists, nurse practitioners, nurse midwives, and nurses in the Hubbard Center for Women’s Health and partners with patients to determine the best treatment and birthing options for each individual. CMC/DHK’s certified nurse midwives provide regular gynecological services, help monitor pregnancies, attend labor, and deliver babies.
