Local Help Available for Navigating the Health Insurance Marketplace
October 30, 2013
Most people living and working in the U.S. must have health coverage in 2014. Health and Social Service providers in the Monadnock Region are working collaboratively to provide you with up-to-date information and enrollment assistance.
You are already covered if you have Medicare, a job-based plan, a plan you bought yourself, COBRA, retiree coverage, TRICARE, or VA Health Coverage. Most NH Medicaid beneficiaries are also covered. If you are a current NH Medicaid beneficiary and have questions about your coverage and your transition to NH Medicaid Care Management (MCM), please contact NH DHHS at their MCM Enrollment Call Center at 1-888-901-4999.
If you are uninsured or want to compare plans, the following options are available to help you:
- Visit www.healthcare.gov to compare plans and/or enroll on-line;
- Complete and submit a paper application (available for download at www.healthcare.gov). If you cannot download a paper application, pick one up from one of sites listed below;
