Welcome Kayla Cushner, CNM

Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene (CMC/DHK) is pleased to welcome Kayla Cushner, CNM, MSN, to the Department of Women’s Health. As a nurse midwife, Ms. Cushner provides care for women through their life spans, guiding them through pregnancy and birth, performing annual exams, and addressing healthcare needs relating to contraception, nutrition, bone health, and menopause.
Ms. Cushner holds a Master of Science degree in Nursing with a certified nurse-midwifery concentration from Yale School of Nursing in New Haven, CT, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Kenyon College in Gambier, OH. She has completed clinical rotations in Integration and Advanced Midwifery at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH, the Women’s Center at Yale-New Haven Hospital New Haven, CT, and Planned Parenthood of Southern NE in Stamford, CT. Ms. Cushner practiced as a Registered Nurse at Yale-New Haven Hospital in the Maternal Special Care Unit in New Haven, CT. She has also completed internships with New Life Midwifery Services in Chicago, IL, at Power of Birth in New York, NY, and UNICEF in Boston, MA.
