ChiRunning Workshop November 17th at CMC/DHK

A unique ChiRunning(R) full day workshop will be held at Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene on Saturday, November 17, 2012 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Led by Vince Vaccaro, a Master ChiRunning(R) and ChiWalking(R) Coach, the course will focus on learning basic components of the ChiRunning(R) technique that will be able to be carried forward in personal running programs. Morning session will include: introduction of the ChiRunning(R) form, keys to effortless and injury-free running, personal check-in tricks and tools, core muscle drills and exercise and more. Afternoon session will cover pre-run body looseners, post-run stretches, and building your running program with essential workouts, such as: techniques for hill and drills, and exercise to improve form. Instruction will be led both indoors, in Auditorium A & B, and outdoors, rain or shine. Participants are encouraged to dress in layers appropriate to the day's weather.
