Cheshire Diabetes Move for the Cure - Saturday, 10/13, 2012

Fundraising event to support patients living with diabetes.

The Endocrinology Department at Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene is pleased to announce the first annual Cheshire Diabetes Move for the Cure event on Saturday, October 13th starting at 9 a.m. at our Court Street campus back employee parking lot in Keene, NH. This event is intended to raise awareness and support for local patients living with diabetes. Registration and the walk are free, however, we welcome donations to the Cheshire Health Foundation Diabetes Fund to support education and programs for our patients. All individuals are welcome to walk, rain or shine, on the 3-mile loop from our back employee parking lot to Wheelock Park and back. This scenic and paved biking/walking path includes some hills and strollers are welcome.  All proceeds will benefit the Diabetes Fund of Cheshire Health Foundation, a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization of Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene. The fund was established to provide support to actively prevent and control diabetes in Cheshire County.
