Hamshaw Lumber Golf Tournament to Benefit Hospital's Cancer Patients - 10/7

September 13, 2012
Keene, NH

Hamshaw Lumber's 32nd Annual Golf Classic will take place at Bretwood Golf Course, East Surry Road, Keene, NH, on Sunday, October 7th, with a 9:00 AM shotgun start. The event will raise money for the patient relief fund of the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Norris Cotton Cancer Center-Kingsbury Pavilion at Cheshire Medical Center.

The nonprofit community hospital offers direct support to cancer patients facing financial difficulties by giving free gas cards. Cancer care requires frequent visits to the hospital, over a long period of time. Radiation is often daily; chemotherapy weekly. Treatment occurs for many weeks, months, even years, creating challenges for those who must travel long distances.

Registration is $100 per golfer. Corporate hole sponsorships are available for $200. Following the day of play there is a cookout at the Bretwood clubhouse. For more information, contact Steve Clark, General Manager, Hamshaw Lumber, Inc, 603-352-6506,
