August 06, 2012
The Cheshire Health Foundation is pleased to receive $800 from the Fraternal Order of Eagles New Hampshire State Past Presidents Club in support of Diabetes Self-Management Education at Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene (CMC/DHK).
The Fraternal Order of Eagles New Hampshire State Past Presidents Club is a statewide organization consisting of the past presidents of the local Eagles Aeries. The club raises funds each year through the sale of raffle tickets. The current president has the distinction of nominating a beneficiary and presenting the check to the nonprofit organization.
Current president Wayne (Whip) Wilson of Keene presented the club's gift to Cindy Rodenhauser Stewart, CMC/DHK Director of Development, and it will be used to fund diabetes education and research at our local hospital and clinic.
A major fundraising focus for the Fraternal Order of Eagles nationally is focused on diabetes education and research.
The Cheshire Health Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable organization supporting Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene, our community's nonprofit hospital and clinic.
