Purple and Pink in the Park Night Swamp Bats Game

Swamp Bats pitchers Kevin McAvoy and Scott Simon, and representative Anthony Rioles, visit with Herb Wood at Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene's Cancer Center: Kingsbury Pavilion as a prelude to Purple and Pink in the Park Night on Friday, July 27.

Sponsored by Savings Bank of Walpole - Friday, July 27th, 2012. A celebration of cancer survivors. All proceeds to benefit local cancer patients.

Norris Cotton Cancer Center - Kingsbury Pavilion of Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene is honored to be the beneficiary of the Savings Bank of Walpole Night at the Swamp Bats on Friday, July 27.

Alumni field welcomes all cancer survivors to participate in a lap around the field before the start of the game. Other activities such as bounce house provided by Sean King Rentals, hair wraps and extensions by Mia Capelli, and cotton candy and snow cones provided by ACE Rental. All fans are encouraged to show their support by wearing pink or purple.

All proceeds will benefit the Patient Relief fund and Cancer Care funds of Cheshire Health Foundation, a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization of Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene. The Patient Relief fund was established to provide financial support and assistance to local patients living with cancer who find difficulty in covering daily living costs like gas, heating fuel, and groceries. In addition, donations allow the purchase of vital equipment for the local, non-profit cancer treatment center, such as television monitors for chemotherapy infusion chairs, blanket warmers and other items.
