Over 300 Participate in Sports Medicine 5K Run/Walk & Kids' Fun Run

Runners charge at the sound of the starting pistol at the 10th Annual 5K Run/Walk & Kids’ Fun Run

Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock’s Sport Medicine program hosted its 10th Annual 5K Run/Walk & Kids’ Fun Run on Saturday, April 15, 2017. Over 300 participants enjoyed beautiful weather as they kicked off a healthy and active spring. First place male and female runners went to Keene residents: Kurt Hackler with a time of 16:44 and Heidi Westover with a time of 18:10. Over $11,000 was raised. Proceeds help to provide Sports Medicine services to the community, including up-to-date rehabilitation equipment, concussion testing, supplies to prevent and treat injuries, and local Sports Medicine education.
