Jeanne Scott, APRN Joins the Rheumatology Department at CMC/DH

Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock (CMC/DH) is pleased to welcome Jeanne Scott, APRN to its department of Rheumatology. Prior to joining CMC/DH, Scott was a Nurse Practitioner at Rheumatology Associates/LPG Rheumatology in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. She is especially interested in assisting patients to adapt to living with chronic disease as well as the treatment of psoriatic arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, Sjögrens syndrome, gout and polymyalgia rheumatica. Currently she is volunteering through the American College of Rheumatology/Association for Rheumatology Health Professionals to assist in developing a fellowship core curriculum for nurse practitioners and physician assistants transitioning into rheumatology.
She holds a Master of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, Massachusetts. Scott also holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology: Health, Medicine and the Body from Suffolk University in Boston.
The Rheumatology Department’s mission is to provide the highest level of comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of systemic inflammatory conditions. This care is delivered by a board certified rheumatologist or certified associate provider in a calm, compassionate, cost-effective, evidence-based and team-oriented manner to achieve the highest quality and satisfaction for our patients.
