Many thanks to the generosity of numerous sponsors, players, and our dedicated volunteers who donated their time on Wednesday, September 14th for the success of our fifth annual Cheshire Health Foundation Golf Tournament at the Keene Country Club. This year's tournament raised more than $51,000 for the Healthy Monadnock Champions Program.

A field of 124 players watched two players swing for a Million Dollar hole-in-one and then hit the links at the shot gun to compete for prizes including chances to win cars, a motorcycle, a $5,000 putting contest and $500 in groceries.

Proceeds will be used to support the Healthy Monadnock Champions Program – an initiative to recruit, support and motivate individuals throughout the region to adopt healthy lifestyles using a positive, inclusive, fun and non-judgmental approach. These efforts support the larger community engagement program, Healthy Monadnock, launched by CMC/DHK in 2006 to foster and sustain a positive culture of health throughout the region.
