Dr. Ellen Stein Joins Emergency Department at CMC/DHK

Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene (CMC/DHK) is pleased to welcome Ellen Stein, MD to its Emergency Department. Dr. Stein holds a Doctor of Medicine from Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, New Hampshire, a Masters of Business Administration from Stanford Graduate School of Business in Stanford, California, and a Bachelor of Arts in Engineering with Computer Science from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. She completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Dr. Stein is particularly interested in Wilderness Medicine and Emergency Medical Services and is certified in Advanced Wilderness Life Support.  She is an avid mountain and road cyclist and also enjoys cross country, telemark, and backcountry skiing.

The CMC/DHK Emergency Department (ED) provides continuous emergency care, 365 days a year.  The state-of-the-art ED includes private, universal treatment rooms, triage rooms, telemedicine, and dedicated Behavioral Health space designed to meet these patients’ unique needs until appropriate treatment or placement becomes available.
