5th Annual Cheshire Stepping Out for Diabetes Walk 9/17

An awareness and Fundraising event to support local patients being treated for diabetes.

Cheshire Health Foundation is pleased to host the fifth annual Cheshire Stepping Out for Diabetes walk fundraiser to actively prevent Type II and control Type I Diabetes in Cheshire County. The walk will take place on Saturday, September 17, 2016. Check-in begins at 9 a.m. at the Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth Hitchcock Keene’s West Entrance; the walk begins at 10:00 a.m., rain or shine. Registration is $10.00 for age 11 and older; Age 10 and under is free. All participants receive a free t-shirt to wear in solidarity and are automatically entered to win great raffle prizes from local businesses. Online registration is open at CheshireDiabetes.org. You can sign up to walk for awareness or sign up to walk and fundraise by collecting donations online and in person from friends and family. All individuals are welcome to become involved. Sports teams, school classes, local businesses and other groups are encouraged to participate as fundraising teams. Each participant’s commitment to collect donations will benefit adult diabetes patients being treated at CMC/DHK. Register and donate today at CheshireDiabetes.org.

The 2 plus mile walk uses sidewalks from the hospital’s West Entrance to Central Square and back. Strollers are welcome. Please leave your pets at home.
