Dr. Robert Spencer Joins Cardiology at CMC/DHK

Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene (CMC/DHK) is pleased to welcome Robert Spencer, MD to its Department of Cardiology. Prior to joining CMC/DHK, Dr. Spencer was Chief Fellow of the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, Tufts University School of Medicine in Brighton, Massachusetts.

Dr. Spencer holds a Doctor of Medicine from the University College Dublin School of Medicine in Dublin, Ireland. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts and after several years was appointed Chief Resident, Department of Medicine. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the American Heart Association, the American College of Cardiology and the Massachusetts Medical Society.

The mission of Cardiology Services is to positively impact the health and well-being of our community by providing a regional program of comprehensive, integrated services focused on the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease and cardiac rehabilitation. The Cardiology providers and staff deliver high quality care by emphasizing patient awareness, promotion of healthy lifestyle, and empowerment to make the right choices.   Our providers strive to improve the cardiac condition of patients with chronic heart disease in order to achieve optimal quality of life.
